Ex-wife alleges former husband husband owes $115,000

ORLANDO — An Orange County woman is suing her former husband, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Rachel Lydia Quinn filed a complaint Oct. 16, in Orange County Circuit Court against Rodolfo Franco Spinelli alleging failure to perform his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, in April 2016, the parties agreed on the distribution of a certain Orange County real estate property and a cash settlement payment wherein Spinelli agreed to pay Quinn $150,000 in three installments. In November 2016, the suit says, Quinn plaintiff also provided a loan of $50,000 to the defendant to purchase property with a promise to repay her within one year. 

To date, the lawsuit states, $115,000 remains unpaid. The plaintiff alleges that despite repeated demands for payment, Spinelli has failed and refuses make further payments on the said amount.

Quinn seeks trial by jury, damages of $115,000, the unpaid $50,000 loan, pre-and post-judgment interest and court costs, as well as all other relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by attorney Mark N. Longwell of Longwell Lawyers in Orlando.
