CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County man is suing St. Petersburg property owners, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Alexis R. Garcia filed a complaint Oct. 18 Pinellas County Circuit Court against The Project House LLC, doing business as Vertical Ventures, and 118 South, LLC, doing business as Vertical Ventures, alleging failure its duty to maintain premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 16, 2015, she was a business invitee on the 116 18th St. S. premises controlled and operated by the defendant. The suit says she fell and suffered personal injuries due to a dangerous condition inside the premises.

Garcia says she suffered pain, disability and incurred expenses for hospitalization.

The plaintiff allege the defendant failed to properly instruct invitees and failed to properly supervise individuals going in and out of the premises.

Garcia seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000 including court costs and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney A. Woodson Isom Jr. of Tampa.
