KB Home Orlando LLC accused of negligently constructing home

ORLANDO — Two individuals are suing KB Home Orlando LLC for alleged negligence and liability.

Patrick and Amanda O'Keeffe filed a complaint on July 19 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to exercise standard care in the construction of their home.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they have suffered from construction defects and deficiencies on their home, including exterior stucco, interior floors and walls among and other latent defects, which allegedly require significant repairs and renovations to remedy. 

The plaintiffs holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to comply with all applicable building codes and regulations, failing to adhere to industry standards and for allegedly reducing the value of the home.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant for damages, interest, costs and other relief the court deems just. They are represented by Wil H. Florin, Neil P. O'Brien and Luca G. Esposito of Florin Roebig PA in Palm Harbor.
