Tower Hill Preferred Insurance Company accused of breaching insurance contract

Insurance 09

ORLANDO — An individual is suing Tower Hill Preferred Insurance Company for alleged breach of contract.

Ben Heller filed a complaint on July 6 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that his property sustained hail damage. However, the defendant allegedly has refused to pay for the damages.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly breaching its insurance contract by refusing to pay for the repair of the plaintiff's property, and for allegedly requiring the plaintiff to retain and pay for legal counsel.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for all covered losses with interest on any overdue payments, attorney's fees and costs. He is represented by Marc Jandy of the Nation Law Firm in Longwood.
