ORLANDO — An individual is suing Automated Petroleum and Energy Company Inc. and EDV Orlando 2015 LLC for alleged negligence.
Weston Dieujuste filed a complaint on July 6 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was seriously and severely injured on March 14, 2016 after the defendants' cooking pan caught on fire. The plaintiff claims that he suffered humiliation, anguish, disability and inconvenience as a result of the unavailability of any fire equipment, protection systems and/or sprinkler systems during the fire.
The plaintiff holds defendants responsible for allegedly failing to comply with fire regulations, provide a safe work environment and take care of the required maintenance.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages, court costs and any further relief the court deems just. He is represented by Barry S. Mittelberg and Valeria Angelucci of Barry S. Mittelberg PA in Coral Springs.
