ORLANDO – A shopper at Target at The Mall of Millennia in Orange County claims that she was injured when she was caused to fall because of a slick floor.
Linda Murray filed a complaint on June 29 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Target Corp. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 28, 2015, she was on the property of the defendant to shop when she slipped and fell on a substance on the floor, causing serious injuries in and about her body and extremities, disfigurement, scarring, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Target Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately maintain and inspect the area and failed to warn plaintiff of the danger of area.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, plus costs, interest and other relief deemed just. She is represented by Craig R. Lynd and Jeffrey S. Kaufman of Kaufman & Lynd PLLC in Orlando.
