FORT LAUDERDALE — A Florida company is suing Sabrina Lima, a former employee, for alleged breach of agreement.
Lavish Property Management LLC filed a complaint on June 13 in the Broward County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached her duty of good faith and fair dealing.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it required defendant to sign a non-compete, non-disclosure and non-solicitation agreement on September 21. However, the defendant allegedly solicited another of the plaintiff's employees to change jobs and allegedly encouraged another to destroy the computer files that compromised the plaintiff's business operations and security after she was terminated.
The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to fulfill her obligations under the agreement and forcing the plaintiff to retain and pay for legal counsel.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages and other relief the court deems proper. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph P. Klapholz of Joseph P. Klapholz PA in Plantation.
