New York resident accuses two individuals of refusing to pay back $100,000 loan

ORLANDO — A New York resident is suing Jeffrey and Holly Cannon, debtors, for alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

Robert L. Friedland filed a complaint on June 22 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants breached their duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered monetary damages when the defendants defaulted on a $100,000 loan.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly refusing to pay the full amount of loan and interest.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in favor of plaintiff for damages in the amount of $100,000 plus interest, costs, attorneys’ fees and for other relief the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Scott Brown, Iden Sinai and Justin P. Bennett of Burr & Forman LLP in Tampa.
