CLEARWATER – A Pinellas County woman is seeking uninsured motorist coverage from her insurer after a collision in the county.
Eileen Lo Sasso filed a complaint on June 1 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Progressive Select Insurance Co. alleging that the licensed insurer failed to perform its contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 6, 2015, she suffered bodily injuries due to a vehicular accident caused by an underinsured motorist. The suit states she settled with the motorist but that the motorist had not assets against which recovery can be made.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for all damages, costs of court prejudgment interest and such other relief that may be deemed appropriate. She is represented by Paul Castagliola of Paul Castagliola PA in St. Petersburg.
