FORT LAUDERDALE – Miami Air International alleges it was damaged when another Florida corporation breached a contract.
Miami Air International Inc. filed a complaint on May 23 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against National Air Cargo Group Inc., doing business as National Airlines, alleging breach of contract
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 18, 2016, it entered into a contract with the defendant to supply aircraft to transport defendant's passengers and cargo. Although, the defendant paid a deposit of $250,000 to plaintiff, the suit states it canceled the contract a day before commencement and refused to pay scheduled payments pursuant to the contract.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for general and special damages for lost profits of more than $15,000 plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Ravi Batta of Rosenfeld Stein Batta PA in Aventura.
