ORLANDO – Two Gotha homeowners allege their insurer unlawfully denied their claim for property damages.
Edgardo Rodriguez and Leonor Roman filed a complaint on May 26 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Tower Hill Preferred Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in July 2016, their property suffered extensive wind and hail damage. They allege the defendant denied their claim in April.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant for compensatory damages, interest, costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. They are represented by Derek L. Metts of Metts Legal PA in Winter Park.
