CLEARWATER – A St. Petersburg lender alleges a Wyoming company doing business in Florida has failed to pay a loan.
Nahakama LLC filed a complaint on May 22 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County against Liquid Bay Capital LLC and Christopher Bill Giotakas alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 31, 2016, plaintiff loaned defendants the principal amount of $400,000. After receiving payment of $60,000 on April 3, the plaintiff alleges the remaining amounts due remain unpaid.
The plaintiff seeks damages together with interest, cost, attorney's fees and such other relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Keith T. Appleby of Banker Lopez Gassler PA in Tampa.
