CLEARWATER – A Minnesota man claims valuable coins that he temporarily gave to a Pinellas County business have not been returned.

Robert Freese filed a complaint on May 15 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Nathan Smith, doing business as Gulf Coast Gold and Silver, alleging breach of contract, fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that his valuable and collectible coins were put into possession of defendants for temporary custody and consignment for sale.

The plaintiff holds Smith responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to perform any of the services agreed upon, refused to return plaintiff's coins and instead kept possession of said coins for defendants' benefits, use and control.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, for the return of the coins along with any damages and such other relief that is necessary and proper. He is represented by Mark Tischhauser of Tischhauser Law Group in Tampa.
