ORLANDO – An Osceola County resident is seeking insurance benefits from two insurers for damages that resulted from an auto accident.

Stephanie Ogilvie filed a complaint on May 17 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Progressive American Insurance Co. and Security National Insurance Co. citing uninsured motorist claim.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 12, 2012, she sustained permanent injuries because of an auto accident in Orange County. She alleges the driver that hit her was underinsured and did not maintain sufficient insurance coverage to compensate for her damages.

The plaintiff holds Progressive American Insurance Co. and Security National Insurance Co. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to honor their contractual obligations by denying plaintiff's claim.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for full insurance benefits, damages, attorney's fees, costs, interest and further relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Joshua A. Andone of Hale, Hale & Jacobson PA in Orlando.
