Southern County Mutual Insurance alleges driver failed to pay more than $40,000

FORT LAUDERDALE – An insurer is seeking more than $40,000 in damages that resulted from a collision in 2014.

Southern County Mutual Insurance, as subrogee of Brian and Angelique Bartholomew, filed a complaint on April 25 in the Broward County Circuit Court against Oswald D. Rodriguez alleging that the motorist negligently caused damages to plaintiff's insured.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that plaintiff had to pay its insured the amount of $40,292.57, due to a vehicular accident caused by defendant in 2014. The plaintiff holds Rodriguez responsible because despite plaintiff's demand for payment, defendant allegedly refused to make any payment for the said amount.

The plaintiffs seek damages in the amount of $40,292.57, plus interest and costs of this action. It is represented by William M. Lindeman of William M. Lindeman PA in Orlando.
