ORLANDO – A chiropractic center alleges an insurer failed to pay all of the amounts due.

Central Florida Medical & Chiropractic Center Inc. filed a complaint on April 17 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against GEICO Indemnity Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 5, 2015, its assignor, Delvys Cabrera, sustained bodily injury arising out of the ownership, maintenance or use of a motor vehicle. The plaintiff alleges it timely submitted medical services to defendant for payment of covered losses but the defendant failed to pay all amounts due and owing to plaintiff's assignor. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for monetary damages, attorneys' fees, costs and interest. It is represented by Michael J. LaPorte and Jason Grundorf of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
