Passenger alleges Walt Disney Parks and Resorts bus driver was negligent

ORLANDO – A man alleges he was injured while traveling on a Walt Disney Parks and Resorts bus.

Alan Fountaine filed a complaint on March 13 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc. and Joan Long Brandon alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 27, 2014, Brandon was driving a bus owned by her employer Walt Disney when she negligently rear-ended another bus owned by her employer on which plaintiff was a passenger. The plaintiff alleges he suffered severe injuries that resulted in medical expenses, pain and suffering and loss earnings. The plaintiff holds Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc. and Brandon responsible because defendant Brandon allegedly was negligent in her operation of the bus.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of more than $15,000, plus interest, costs and expenses. He is represented by Christopher J. Smith of Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz PA in Fort Myers.
