Law money 12

JACKSONVILLE – An Atlantic Beach man alleges a Jacksonville restaurant failed to pay overtime wages.

Aaron Michael Gordon filed a complaint on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville District against Xtreme Wings I LLC, Robert R. Group and Kullen T. Sourdiff citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by the defendants from March 2013 to January as a cook. The plaintiff holds Xtreme Wings I LLC, Group and Sourdiff responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime wages at a rate of time-and-one-half for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, award overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, expenses, interest and further relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Peter Bober and Samara Bober of Bober & Bober PA in Hollywood.
