ORLANDO — Four employees are suing apartment complex owners, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Christian Carrasquillo, Orlando Cartagena, William Torres and Michael Aveille filed a complaint March 14 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando Division against Eagle Summit Apartments LLC, Eagle Landing of Orlando LLC, Eagle Bend Apartments, LLC Lohman Apartments LLC and Del Sol Property Management, alleging failure to pay fair wages to the plaintiffs.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to pay the plaintiffs any overtime premium for working more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorneys Cynthia Gonzalez and Luis R. Amadeo of Cynthia Gonzalez PA in Tampa.
