Royal Caribbean passenger alleges negligence caused broken shoulder

Cruise 10

MIAMI – A Delray Beach woman alleges she broke her shoulder while traveling on a cruise ship because of a substance on a floor.

Rochelle Musinger filed a complaint on March 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 30, 2016, she suffered physical injuries, including a broken shoulder, when she slipped and fell because of a foreign liquid substance that was left on the floor on the ship Harmony of the Seas. The plaintiff holds Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to put up warning signs regarding the hazardous condition of the floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, medical expenses, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Spencer Aronfeld, Lovecia A. Holmes, Matthias M. Hayashi and Jonathan D. Carvajal of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers in Coral Gables.
