Law money 07

MIAMI – A tow truck driver alleges he is owed unpaid wages from a South Florida employer.

William Cody Piper filed a complaint on Feb. 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Panther Towing Inc.; Anayza M. Ali, also known as Anayza Arbor; and Mohammed Ali, also known as Mark Ali alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for the defendants as a tow truck driver and was not paid for weeks of his employment. The plaintiff holds Panther Towing Inc.; Anayza M. Ali, also known as Anayza Arbor; and Mohammed Ali, also known as Mark Ali responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay minimum wages or overtime wages to the plaintiff at the rate of one-and-one-half his regular rate of pay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law PA in Fort Lauderdale.
