MIAMI – A Hollywood man formerly employed as an air conditioning technician alleges he is owed for unpaid overtime wages.
Jacinto Rodriguez filed a complaint on Feb. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against USA Air Duct Cleaners LLC and Doron Ziv alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by the defendants from 2013 to 2017. The plaintiff holds USA Air Duct Cleaners LLC and Ziv responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff overtime compensation at a rate of time-and-one-half of his regular wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, costs, expenses, attorney’s fees and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Roderick V. Hannah of Roderick V. Hannah PA in Plantation.
