TJM Promos alleged to have not paid proper rate for overtime work

Law money 10

OCALA – An Ocala resident claims he was not properly paid for overtime work by his employer.

Ronald Antasek Jr. filed a complaint on behalf of himself and similarly situated individuals on Feb. 13 in the 5th Judicial Circuit Court - Marion County against TJM Promos Inc., Trudi Moore and Michael J. Moore alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has suffered damages and lost compensation for working overtime hours without being paid at a rate of time-and-one-half of his regular wages. The plaintiffs hold TJM Promos Inc., Trudi Moore and Michael J. Moore responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly apprise its employees of their rights under the FLSA and failed to compensate its employees of overtime wages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants, declaratory relief, overtime wages due, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, expenses, interest, and further relief the court deems just. He is represented by Edwin A. Green III of Blanchard, Merriam, Adel & Kirkland PA in Ocala.
