Driver alleges he was injured in Highway 331 accident with FIS employee

PENSACOLA – A Freeport man alleges he was injured in an accident with a Department of Federal Investigative Services employee.

James Davis filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division against the United States of America and Allan Overton alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 7, 2015, he suffered physical injuries from being involved in a vehicular accident with Overton on U.S. Highway 331 in Walton County. The plaintiff holds The United States of America and Overton responsible because the Overton allegedly was negligent in operating his vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant. He is represented by Randle D. Thompson of Kerrigan, Estess, Rankin, McLeod & Thompson LLP in Pensacola.
