PENSACOLA – A woman alleges she broke her leg while shopping at a commissary.

Claire Drinkwine filed a complaint Jan. 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division against the United States of America alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 11, 2015, she suffered physical injuries, including a broken femur, when she slipped on a slippery substance while shopping at the Pensacola NAS Commissary. The plaintiff holds United States of America responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of their premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Shane M. Dean of Dean & Camper PA in Pensacola.
