MIAMI – A Florida trust claims it paid a Colorado resident to order steel for a construction project and that he did not do so.
WNC Trust Dated Nov. 14, 2012, filed a complaint on Jan. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Tyler Cooper, also known as Tyler Marshal Cooper, alleging fraud.
According to the complaint, the defendant is the manager of A2Z Welding in Colorado and was paid by the plaintiff to purchase steel for a construction project in Colorado. The plaintiff alleges the defendant did not order the steel.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the amount of $284,614.32, plus all legal fees. It is represented by William N. Charouhis of William N. Charouhis & Associates, PA in Miami.
