Target shopper alleges he was injured in store

CLEARWATER – A Target shopper alleges he was injured in the Pinellas Park store because of a dangerous condition.

James Gates filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Target Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 26, 2016, he sustained physical injuries that required medical care while shopping at the defendant's store. The plaintiff holds Target Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn the plaintiff regarding the hazardous condition of its premises. The alleged condition was not specified in the suit.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000 plus all legal fees. He is represented by William H. Winters of Winters & Yonker PA in Tampa.
