Former employee claims Randolph Hotel Inc. did not pay minimum wage

Law money 04

TAMPA – A Pinellas County employer is alleged to have not paid a minimum wage to a former employee.

Krystal Mims filed a complaint on behalf of others similarly situated on Feb. 13 in the Tampa Division for the Middle District of Florida against Randolph Hotel Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from not being paid all compensation for her work during her employment from February 2015 to October 2016. The plaintiff holds Randolph Hotel Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep track of the total hours worked by the plaintiff as well as failing to compensate her for off-the-clock work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of all hours worked at the regular rate of pay, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by W. John Gadd in Clearwater.
