FORT LAUDERDALE – A Broward County manufacturer of accessories for Harley Davidson is alleged to owe two former employees more than $5,000 each for unpaid overtime.

Lazaro Aguilar and Jesse Sanchez filed a complaint on Feb. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Bagger Bags LLC and Deric Tikotsky alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for the defendants from July 2015 to December 2016 as laborers. The plaintiffs hold Bagger Bags LLC and Tikotsky responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiffs any overtime premiums for working more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek award plaintiff Aguilar a total of $5,418.82 for unpaid overtime wages and liquidated damages, $5,071.62 for plaintiff Sanchez, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Michael A. Pancier of Law Offices of Michael A. Pancier PA in Pembroke Pines.
