Pedestrian alleges injuries after being struck in WaWa parking lot

CLEARWATER – A pedestrian has filed a suit against two Georgia residents alleging she was struck while walking in Pinellas County.

Deanna Clements filed a complaint on Feb. 8 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Rickie Jace and Stevan Figueroa alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec.9, 2014, she suffered physical injuries when she was struck by a moving vehicle driven by Figueroa and owned by Jace. The suit states the incident occurred at the WaWa parking lot on Ulmerton Road. The plaintiff holds Jace and Figueroa responsible because Figueroa allegedly negligently operated Jace's vehicle, causing it to collide with plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages and all legal fees. She is represented by Eric D. Roslansky and Austin J. Grinder of The Ruth Law Team in St. Petersburg.
