Prudential Insurance Company of America accused of wrongly denying claim

Insurance 06

ORLANDO — A woman is suing The Prudential Insurance Company of America, an insurance firm, citing alleged breach of contract.

Rosa Horace filed a complaint on Feb. 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando Division against The Prudential Insurance Company of America, alleging that the insurance firm wrongly denied her claim for disability benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from being denied disability benefits. The plaintiff holds The Prudential Insurance Company of America responsible because the defendant allegedly upheld its decision to deny her disability benefits despite having sufficient medical evidence to support the claim.

The plaintiff seeks all benefits plus interest, and all legal fees. She is represented by Herbert M. Hill and Michael Ann Woodard of Herbert M. Hill, P.A. in Orlando.
