Law money 08

ORLANDO – A former administrative assistant for an Orange County call center company is seeking allegedly unpaid overtime compensation.

Sharon Sedloff filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Dialamerica Marketing Inc., doing business as Dialamerica Inc., citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she worked for more than 40 hours per week but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Dialamerica Marketing Inc., doing business as Dialamerica Inc., responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiff at the legal rate for working more than 40 hours.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of all overtime compensation at one-and-one-half the regular rate, liquidated damages, all legal fees, interest and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Aaron Hines of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
