Black Aces Tactical alleges Hurricane Butterfly Holdings is unlawfully using patent for gun

Patents 03

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Florida corporation alleges a Washington business is using its patented technology for a shotgun.

Eric Lemoine and TTC Performance Products Inc., doing business as Black Aces Tactical, filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Jason M. Wong and Hurricane Butterfly Holdings Inc. alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they are the owners of the '846 patent for a shotgun magazine receiver assembly and that they suffered damages to their business. The plaintiffs hold Wong and Hurricane Butterfly Holdings Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly used plaintiffs' patented technology to develop their own gun to directly compete with the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs seek payment of damages plus interest, treble damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Louis R. Gigliotti of Louis R. Gigliotti PA in Hollywood.
