TAMPA — A former mechanic for Ace Wentworth Inc., d/b/a Wentworth Golf Club, and William Place has filed a class action lawsuit against the defendants for allegedly violating wage law.

George Huppe filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly violating the Fair Labor Standards Act's overtime pay provisions.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of all overtime wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Marc R. Edelman of Morgan & Morgan in Tampa.
