Woman claims employers violated minimum-wage standards

MIAMI — A former employee is suing William Massry and Jodi Macken, a/k/a Jodi Massry, employers, alleging violation of wage law.

Emma Banegas Contreras filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from not being paid the required minimum wage. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for the alleged failure to obey the law regarding minimum wage.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all minimum wages still owed, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by J.H. Zidell of J.H. Zidell, P.A. in Miami Beach.
