FLORIDA — Sarasota-based photographer is suing Craig E. Scott, Law Offices of Scott & Guy, P.A., and Scott & Guy Realty, LLC, law firm, citing alleged copyright infringement.

Joe Myeress filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against the defendants alleging that they reproduced copies of plaintiff's images without permission.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from having his copyrighted images used without permission. The plaintiff holds Craig E. Scott, Law Offices of Scott & Guy, P.A., and Scott & Guy Realty, LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly displayed plaintiff's copyrighted images on their website.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages and disgorgement, all legal fees and interest, to enjoin the defendant, and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Karen C. Kline of Duane Morris LLP in Boca Raton.
