FLORIDA — A woman is suing Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Co., an insurance firm, citing alleged breach of contract due to termination of disability payments.
Jaime R. Huth filed a complaint on Nov. 17, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Co. alleging that the insurance firm denied plaintiff's claim for disability benefits.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she became disabled and was initially approved to receive disability benefits until those benefits were terminated. The plaintiff holds Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly decided to terminate plaintiff's benefits despite being disabled according to the plan.
The plaintiff seeks payment of disability benefits, reinstatement, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Victor Pena and Gregory Michael Dell of Attorneys Dell and Schaefer, Chartered in Hollywood.
