Law money 03

MIAMI – An administrative assistant for a South Florida car dealership and body shop alleges she was not paid overtime wages.

Rosemarie Ambrosio filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Care Auto Enterprise Inc., formerly known as Budget Auto Enterprise Inc., and Abraham Levy citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she worked for more than 40 hours per workweek without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Care Auto Enterprise Inc. and Levy responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium at a rate of time-and-one-half for hours worked that exceeded 40 in a week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, all legal fees, and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law PA in Fort Lauderdale.
