TAMPA — A policy holder is suing Prudential Insurance, alleging failure to pay disability benefits.
Lance Kutzner filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Tampa Division against The Prudential Insurance Company of America, alleging breach of contract in denying the plaintiff's claim for disability benefits.
According to the complaint, following the death of a relative, Kutzner's application for disability benefits was denied by Prudential despite the terms of the plaintiff's plan.
Kutzner seeks payment of benefits, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney David A. Spain of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
