FORT LAUDERDALE — A Broward County man is suing a landscaping service, alleging violating of federal statutes by failing to pay overtime.

Otis James Wright filed a class action complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Nov. 10 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Fort Lauderdale Division against GRC Landscaping II LLC, also known as GRC Landscaping Services LLC, Deon Botha, Daniel Goldstein and Frank Perkins, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Wright often worked more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff alleges the defendants' failure to to pay any overtime premium violates FLSA.

Wright seeks trial by jury, compensatory and liquidated damages, all legal fees and interest, plus all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Daniel T. Feld of Law Office of Daniel T. Feld PA in Hollywood, and by Isaac Mamane of Mamane Law LLC in Bay Harbor Islands.
