U.S. government seeks to have Pasco County resident repay more than $10,000 in debt

TAMPA — A government entity is suing Kim Alix, an individual, citing alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

United States of America filed a complaint on Nov. 8, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Kim Alix alleging that the individual failed to settle her debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that United States of America suffered damages due to unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Kim Alix responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of her debt plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $7,629.18 plus interest of $2,491.13, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. in Coral Gables.
