JACKSONVILLE – A St. John's County man is alleged to have defaulted on a loan.
United States of America filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Tony Barakat alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Barakat failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.
The plaintiff seeks principal balance of $2,823.49 plus interest of $5,201.05, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Coral Gables.
