Hillsborough County resident is said to owe more than $2,000 to the government

TAMPA — A government entity is suing Johnny G. Bailey, an individual, citing alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

United States of America filed a complaint on Oct. 28, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Johnny G. Bailey alleging that the individual failed to settle his debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the United States of America suffered damages due to unpaid debt. The plaintiff holds Johnny G. Bailey responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the principal amount of his debt plus interest.

The plaintiff seeks principal amount of $2,345 plus interest of $2,916.86, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. in Coral Gables.
