Woman alleges Carnival's negligence caused injuries during game

Cruise 05

MIAMI – A Tennessee woman alleges she was injured while participating in a game on cruise ship.

Tynearia Harrison filed a complaint on Oct. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Carnival Corp., doing business as Carnival Cruise Line, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 3, 2015, she sustained physical injuries from slipping on a foreign liquid substance while participating in a game near the pool on the Carnival Dream. The plaintiff holds Carnival Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect, clean and maintain the floors in a reasonably safe condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Spencer Aronfeld, Matthias M. Hayashi and Lovecia A. Holmes of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers in Coral Gables.
