MIAMI — A passenger is suing Carnival Corp., a cruise ship company, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Lyudmyla Durbalo filed a complaint on Oct. 27, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Carnival Corp. alleging that the cruise ship company failed to assist their passengers with their luggage
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Nov. 1, 2015, she sustained physical injuries when the luggage in front of her fell toward her. The plaintiff holds Carnival Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate personnel to assist plaintiff with her luggage.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. She is represented by Joel M. Barnett of Waks & Barnett, P.A. in Miami.
