Lake County man alleged to owe on student loans

OCALA – A Lake County man is alleged to owe on student loan debt.

United States of America filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Ocala Division against Gregory Beech alleging that the debtor failed to pay his loans.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that from 1988 to 1989, it issued promissory notes to the defendant on three different occasions to secure student loans. It alleges the defendant has not repaid the balance.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in its favor for the sum of $16,506.65 plus interest, administrative costs, attorney's fees and further relief which the court deems proper. It is represented by Steven M. Davis of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Coral Gables.
