MIAMI – A Broward County retailer is accused of selling counterfeit versions of a specific brand of water pipes.
Sream Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Sajeev Management Inc. alleging trademark infringement and counterfeiting.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it is the only exclusive licensee off the RooR mark in the US. The plaintiff holds Sajeev Management Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly sells counterfeit copies of RooR water pipes.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, injunctive relief all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jamie Alan Sasson of The Ticktin Law Group PLLC in Deerfield Beach.
