Law money 13

MIAMI – A Broward County man alleges he was not paid overtime wages or a minimum wage while employed as a concrete pumper.

Maximiliano Navas filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Go-Tilt Construction LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between October 2014 and August, he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation or the legal minimum wage during certain pay periods. The plaintiff holds Go-Tilt Construction LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to comply with the FLSA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks double damages, all minimum wage still owing, all legal fees and interest and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Todd M. Feldman and Stuart F. Cohen of Conroy, Simberg in Hollywood.
