MIAMI – A passenger alleges that a cruise ship company failed to provide a stable gangway for their passengers to walk on.
Ursula Egg filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division against Celebrity Cruises Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 27, she suffered injuries to her left shoulder when she fell from the gangway onto the tender of the defendant's vessel. The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, medical expenses, all legal fees and interest and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Spencer Marc Aronfeld and Matthias M. Hayashi of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers in Coral Gables.
