MIAMI — A former employee has filed a class-action lawsuit against a delivery business for alleged unpaid wages.
Spencer Amadon filed a complaint on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated on Sept. 29 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Coral Springs Delivery Dudes LLC and Dude Holdings LLC, alleging that they failed to provide fair compensation to the plaintiff for his work.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation nor was he paid the legal minimum wage. The plaintiff holds Coral Springs Delivery Dudes LLC and Dude Holdings LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime premium to the plaintiff for hours worked that exceeded 40 hours per week.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks minimum wages due, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Daniel R. Levine of Padula Bennardo Levine LLP in Boca Raton.
